We Believe Everyone deserves a Second Chance

Our Mission:

North Carolina Second Chance Community Development Corporation's mission is to assist in reducing the recidivism rate and increasing productive citizenship within our communities. Therefore, we are dedicated to promoting stability and security to our justice involved citizens who are released from incarceration, and extended to their families.

What We Do

We offer assistance utilizing the resources of the Seven Core Components needed to achieve a successful re-entry back into society. Those components are: Employment, Education, Housing, Healthcare, Food/Clothing, Spiritual Guidance and Family reunification. It is NC Second Chance CDC's duty to devise an appropriate individualized plan for each client, by utilizing these components as tools to success.

The Harm Reduction Services is the logical addition to NC Second Chance CDC. We look forward to helping those who are affected by Substance Abuse and Drug Addiction, by using this resource to get the help they need to keep out of returning to a life that is monitored by the judicial system and addiction.

Currently we serve Harnett, Lee, Wake, and Johnston counties. Whether an individual needs assistance obtaining housing, employment, education, healthcare, or any other individual or family service(s), North Carolina Second Chance CDC provides a dedicated support system through Partnerships with Service Providers made up of various agencies, organizations and criminal justice friendly businesses that are willing to help our formerly incarcerated individuals become successfully productive citizens.
